SignLater collects as little as possible. Here’s exactly what, and why.
What we collect
Calculator usage. Our tools (like the Payment Processing Cost Analyzer) run entirely in your browser. Your numbers — volume, rates, fees — never leave your device except in one case:
Email-my-results. If you ask the analyzer to email you your results, we send one transactional email to the address you provide. That email contains only your results. We do not add you to any marketing list, we do not share your address, and requesting results is never consent to marketing. (We’re explicit about this because the industry often isn’t.)
Rate limiting. To prevent abuse of the email feature, we store a salted hash of your IP address with a request counter. No raw IP addresses are stored for this purpose, and calculator scenarios themselves are never saved.
Contact form. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, and message — used only to reply.
Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages help people (page views, referrers). We do not sell data, and we do not use cross-site tracking for advertising profiles.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: WordPress session cookies for site administration, and analytics cookies if analytics is enabled. No advertising-profile cookies.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (which, for most visitors, is nothing at all) by contacting us. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date above and note the change here. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
