Our rules, without exception:
- Commissions never change our math. Our calculators use the same formulas regardless of who pays us. A tool that favored a sponsor would be useless — and we’d know first.
- Commissions never change our rankings or recommendations. We don’t rank vendors, and we don’t recommend specific ones. Our guides teach you to evaluate all of them.
- We disclose on the page. Any page with affiliate links says so, near the links — not buried at the bottom.
- We’d rather lose a commission than your trust. If a sponsor’s product is a bad deal, we say so. That’s the entire point of this site.
